Crinken Church

God's whispers

"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

Missionary Church - We are all called to be Evangelists

"Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. "
Matthew 28:19

"The Church of which Christ is head is made up of people, not masonry, and remember that the Lord will return to claim US – not a building – as his bride."Rev F E Bland 1940

Missionary Heart - Sharing the love of God

From the first day St James Church, Crinken was commissioned in 1840 its community has had a missionary heart and has had a long standing tradition of sending and supporting church members involved with Christian mission overseas, and also at home.

"Jesus said that the harvest is plentiful. Both at home and overseas people need Christ. We believe that this new hall will be used by God to enable more of the harvest to be reaped – and to teach and train the labourers." Ken "Fanta" Clarke 1984
