Missionary Church - We are all called to be Evangelists
"Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
"The Church of which Christ is head is made up of people, not masonry, and remember that the Lord will return to claim US – not a building – as his bride."Rev F E Bland 1940
Missionary Heart - Sharing the love of God
From the first day St James Church, Crinken was commissioned in 1840 its community has had a missionary heart and has had a long standing tradition of sending and supporting church members involved with Christian mission overseas, and also at home.
"Jesus said that the harvest is plentiful. Both at home and overseas people need Christ. We believe that this new hall will be used by God to enable more of the harvest to be reaped – and to teach and train the labourers." Ken "Fanta" Clarke 1984
Mission Partners over the years
Crinken has been blessed with many missionary minded followers over the past 175 years, who have gone overseas to work with Christian organisations seeking to share God's love with others through education, building schools, training, healthcare, welfare innovations, micro economic programmes, providing safe water supplies and drinking wells, church plants, in conjunction with Christian ministry.
